I personally think that both can be racist. Blacks are only racist due to the hundreds of years of oppression and even to this day they are below whites as far as the average goes. A lot of whites are racist due to the fact that they think all black people are killers and so forth. Most whites are just as racist as blacks. they only show it when they get on the internet such as places like youtube. I'm black, I talk to white people. I know many blacks who are friends with whites and vise versa. blacks are not more racist than whites. They only say things like " Is it because I'm black?" due to the fact that they have always been at the bottom in this country and still are. you should see on youtube. There are thousands of racist members on there that make racist remarks towards blacks. I think if it wasn't for some white people being so racist, blacks wouldn't have a real reason to feel separate from blacks. I still think though that neither is racist over the other. Every human being is racist. It's the human nature. We should start doing what the animals do. They really don't discriminate. they do what they gotta do.

I also though personally think that racism isn't a trait like this topic makes it out to be. It is the ignorance of a person. This topic alone singles out racism to be a memory trait implanted in different races. As if black people are automatically more racist because they are black. Racism is just the close mindedness in a person. The real outcast is the ignorant people. If we all come together to overcome all the ignorant people we can overcome this racism issue.

I think both peoples are as bad as each other.

So like I said It really isn't about black or white. We're all very mutt when it comes to our races.. there are so many white people who I'm sure have other breeds in them than just White.. I mean since when was White a race?? it should be Pales against Darks. that covers a larger scale. I'm pretty sure that any Black family here has at least some European in them somewhere in their family tree.
So it all comes back down to the region you are from. maybe where you live the blacks are more racist or more outspoken about racism or with racist remarks. maybe in some parts white people are. it all depends on where you live.

Kinda like what juan said also adding the stereotypes that go along with each race. When you're hardly around a different race you tend to believe whatever stereotypes are floating about since you don't know anyone of that race to prove otherwise. I've heard that white people are racist, snobish, greedy, stingy, judgemental and self righteous, not to mention racist. Luckily, I've only met a few white people like that and all the white people I consider my friends are nothing like that.

As for stereotypes... I think most of them are true but they are something to laugh at and joke about. Who the f**k cares if somebody eats fried chicken and watermelon. I love the s**t out of both. White people can't dance? You know what I don't have to be a good dancer. I guarantee you I'll have that chick laughing so hard on the dance floor that she'll go home with me at the end of the night anyways because maybe i can't dance but I got a sense of humor and the "i don't give a f**k what people think about me" which chicks love. Asians are bad drivers? hahaha ok like i said who the f**k cares. Everybody needs to get stop looking at stereotypes as negative. Unless they are ones that insult your character. Like being dishonest, or a thief. If you hear people saying s**t like that just blow them the f**k off. If you ignore them long enough those people will eventually stop talking.

I'd say Muslims are more racist than blacks or whites.

I agree that alot of racism is sparked by religion, but I also think that people who are quite religious are very blind sighted or narrow minded!

A few people in my family are charismatic and their just so one sided. They don't believe or see things for what they really are, only how the're religion see's them.
For all their "enlightened" ways, being afraid of other people or life in general is just sad!
