Mainly this post is out of sheer boredom. I have heard many responses to this question most say French is the easier out of the two languages. Share your opinions

The languages are remarkably similar.

So similar that the difficulty of learning will have much more to do with the teacher and class material than the language.

French and Spanish for some reason both seem hard to me, German has always kinda come naturally for me . Maybe because half my family is German lol idk

I took French in high school. Virtually all of my friends took Spanish.

We all had very good teachers, and would trade words and grammar and stuff like that. Even after 2-3 years, I found that I could easily understand their lessons and vice versa with just a little bit of help. The vocabulary and grammar are really quite similar.

Spanish. But I don't know if that's down to me learning French for the last ten years.

I started learning Spanish last month, and it's just coming to me so much easier than French did.

The verbs are a hell of a lot easier too, there's far fewer annoying irregular verbs And most of them follow a similar pattern.

Hopefully I'm gonna get a good grade this year.

I've heard that after you study French, Spanish becomes easier, which I'm inclined to agree with, because, as Jonnythan said, the languages are remarkably similar.
