I'm trying to advertise a company on the web but don't know any good sites to place ads. If you have any suggestions on sites that actually work or sites that are a waste of time, please inform me.

If you have no idea about it, chances are high you are going to be ripped off. Stick to google and yahoo.

You can directly contact the webmaster of the site you would like your add been published on; direct negotiations are sometimes better than having some third party in between.

i get my best leads by putting flyers on cars at wal mart and laundry mats have not had much luck on the net

yea, placing an ad on google or yahoo is probably going to cost more than your company is ever going to make.

i am with this person,it may be time to go outside the "pc" and do some old fashioned advertising.

on cabs,flyers,on buses,local rags,city wide rags,billbooards,bus shelters,wherever your target audience hang.
