Mine ;is the Villa Rotonda. It's my avvie<<<<<<<
I like it because it isn't too big and has perfect form and proportion and is perfectly situated close to town with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
what do you think?

The Phila. Museum of Modern Art; the views are exquisite from the top of the stairs and it looks so regal where it sits. It makes our skyline. The Colisseum the way that I imagined it was, it still catches my eye, even though it's crumbling. When I was in there I swore I could hear cheering.

I mean, why would you build that?

It does seem a bit extravagant I admit but revolving restaurants are popular so why not have a revolving apartment block? link [images.google.com]

Red square is kinda cool as are the onion domes on St Basils.

The thing is it's planned to be built in Arabia so possibly the only views will be desert and oil wells.

One of mine is "The Carlson Towers" in Minnetonka, Minnesota. At sunset they glow all bronzy and amber an pink. They have beautiful symmetry and are perfectly posed against the downtown skyline. bybee
