So I just popped in this cd I brought right, Phantoms by Acceptance...Great album that I downloaded a while back, and decided to buy it.

So I put it in...and it doesn't show up in Windows Media Player, OR iTunes, OR Winamp...so I go to My Computer to try see what's going on. It turns out this is one of those enhanced cd's...damn...

Not only that, but when I opened the cd, it popped up with this little window thing that let me play the music, and also copy the music in protected WMA format...

Which is less than ideal...

Now this is the weird part, it comes up inn big red and yellow words:

Let me get this straight, they installed software behind the scenes with this album I just payed good money for. And this software "may increase the vulnerability of your computer to certain computer viruses." And they provide me with a way of taking it off my computer.

Protected music can't be converted...
Good thing I don't use my iPod anymore, hence don't need to worry about iTunes not accepting WMA.

Stuff it. I'll use my damn low quality downloaded versions...
