As far as heaviest, Doom metal would be the topper on that.

Fastest, well Thrash is my opinion.

Most Hardcore? well Hardcore of course.

I'd rather die on my feet than keep living on my knees.

Doom? The heaviest? I am sorry, but that does not match up for me. It is either Death or
Black for sure. Doom is too slow to be considered the heaviest.

The fastest probably is thrash, but Death and Black emerged from Thrash, so there is some
competition.

Hardcore? Hardcore is not the most hardcore, though it is hardcore. Once again, Death or
Black takes that.

There are so many sub genres because there is so much to do with metal. Metal
is a very expandable genre, which is a big reason i like it.

Actually, COB is an Alternative Metal band. They have mixes of Death, Black, Thrash, and
Power metal. They are pretty much their own genre, which I like about them. But because
they don't fit into one genre, they belong to Alternative.
