Can anyone define the difference between pop and rock.

I'd say it's something like pop is more tuneful and lighter!

pop is lighter and rock is harder lol that's the best i can describe it

Something emotional
Something that's beautiful
Something that stands the test of time
Why are the simple things so hard to find

pop has changed over time. You can't call one song the best song ever. There are definitely different ages in the pop genre, and you can pick the best pop song in each age.
