id say he has the right to know before hand. it would make it hard for him and you if he found out later, cause honestly, if I got a girl pregnant and she didnt tell me until AFTER she had an abortion, i dont think i could stay with her. I would feel betrayed,for one she didnt trust me to support her or at least give my opinion,and two she killed MY baby too and didnt even give me the chance to fight for its life. I have heard of woman that got pregnant did not want the kid but the father talk her into havin it, after it is born, giving him the child and she went her seperate way cause she didnt want the kid. So maybe that could be an option too...

I think he deserves the respect needed to tell him. Children aren't just the domain of women. Ultimately its your body but he should at least be consulted.

If you dont have the trust and respect needed to tell him, may i suggest you maybe shouldnt be having sex with him in the first place.

I think under "most" circumstances a guy deserves to have a chance to play a part in the decision.

In some circumstances it is not a good idea.

It depends if you and the guy are in a relationship. And what's to say that he will care if your not in a relationship. He might be relieved. But that's not saying I'm for abortion because I am not. But to each their own.

As far as the man's right to know, he has no right to know. It depends on the kind of relationship you want to have with him after this.

But don't tell someone something just to relieve your conscience. If it will hurt him, and you are going to do it anyway, its your burden to bear.

And to the person who said its totally immoral and killing a baby, save it. Go preach to your own people, leave the rest of us, including the unborn, the hell out of it.

As he was 50% responsible for creating the child I would say he has the right to know.

When it comes to abortion the woman has an unfair advantage.

Tell the father and take into account his input.

You could always give it up for adoption as well.....most often the easy way out isn't the best one.

Honesty is always the best policy...even when it's harder then hiding the truth.
