So what? Most mammal muscles have similar tastes.

If you've ever tasted lamb and chicken you'd know that was wrong

Even if I told the world, it would not be enough coz it was not said to you..

I did write "most" and "similar". I thought that would have
covered it?

I don't think about horses much at all. There are some in the field behind my house. If they were made into glue, I wouldn't particularly miss them.

In the United States, roughly 250 rendering plants located around the country process approximately 100 million pounds of “waste” or inedible parts of slaughtered animals such as bones, blood, hides, offal, feathers, as well as road kill, spoiled grocery meat, restaurant grease, and euthanized dogs, cats, and horses, every day. The end results of the process are a variety of products including tallow, lard, animal feed, protein meal, cosmetics, and mechanical lubricants....

With the rendering process, every bit of farmed animals (and sometimes even our dog and cat companions) is used in an astonishing variety of items — lubricants, polish, soap, cement, ink, lipstick, pharmaceuticals, Jell-O, gummy candies, pet foods and agricultural feed, to name just a few. The rendering industry utilizes a “witch’s brew” of animal parts: spinal cords, brains, eyeballs, and intestines, turning whatever’s not wanted by the food and clothing industries into the components of a thousand useful products.

Thankfully i wear vegan products and only use cosmetics etc that aren't tested on animals.

I also only use ecover cleaning products and as far as i know they are completely animal free as well as environmentally friendly of course.

Me too. Many people, however, do not have much of a clue to what they are buying and using. Apathy rules in this era.

Have you tried the One Planet products that are out in most major supermarkets now?

They are not tested on animals, they are carbon free and all the containers are made out of recyclable components.

Just thought you may be interested because of what you put in your post

I love my animals. i have a 5 year old solid brown paint named Pandora. When she was a yearling she cut open her back leg and tore a front tendon. I thought I would lose her, but $2000 and one surgery later she recovered. she won't be the jumper I want though.
I'm starting to train a 4 year old chestnut paint to ride. I got on his back the last weekend and he didn't care one bit.
I also have miniatures and am training one to drive.
I love them. They are my life.

They are also eaten. I absolutely love horses, I have 2 of my own and when I have my own property I will have many, many more. It is sad that they are slaughtered the way that they are, they should be given humane treatment.. but sadly that's how it is with livestock.

No one in America slaughters horses for food or glue. The Dept of the interior did try to sell wild horses to Europe a few years ago because of over population. The Frecnh really really like horse meat. Anyway, animal rights groups stopped it and now those poor horses just die of starvation and disease if they don't get adopted.
Nice, real nice.
