Figured we could use a new thread, and being new, I thought this was as good a way as any to get to know people and introduce myself a bit.
So, I'll answer my own questions first...
Five tattoos; Saltire and thistle on my right lower leg, Celtic cross on my right thigh, stylised Celtic heart on my upper back, and a stylised heart with an eye looking out of it on my left shoulder.
Eight piercings; listed on another thread (three left ear, two right ear, tongue, navel, and hood)
As to why, the Saltire was first, when I was living in LA, and kinda just expanded from there. They all have their own significance to me, and are relevant to specific times in my life, but I'm not gonna bore you with all the details...just now lol!

I have 3 tattoo's: a heart and celtic thing on my ankle, it has no significance really, except me and my 2 friends all had it. I have "Cymru" on the bottom of my back, it means Wales in Welsh, I had it because I was born in Wales and consider myself to be Welsh. My other looks like shooting stars but it's made up of pink flowers, I had it because I liked it, still love it but want it extended.

I have an industrial piercing in my left ear, and I had it just because I wanted a piercing and sort of decided on a spur of the moment thing to get it done.

I have three... little red rose on left breast, celtic sun on lower leg, and huge fairy on mushroom on my back. Let's see..the rose I got 1 day after my 18th birthday. When I turned 18 I was talking about all the great - new - cool stuff I could do now that I was an "adult", and I mentioned I could get a tattoo. Well my Mom came back with, "Not as long as you live in my house!!" so of course within 12 hours I was out getting my tattoo.... The sun I just liked, I love all things related to the sun. And the fairy..well I have a thing for fairies too!

5 tattoos butterfly on each ankle love in chinese on one shoulder. chinese for richard on other shoulder. And two butterflies forming a heart lower back.

A weird thingy on my forearm, a pentacle on my ankle, 9 earrings and a nose ring.

I haven't got any, because I've never seen any on anyone else and thought it looked good.
