If you are studying for one then please post what it is you are working toward, how far along you are, what you are doing in the meantime, etc.

Whatever you are comfortable sharing. I'm always curious about such things with people.

I guess decisiveness isn't one of your strengths? lol. Took me a little while to decide too.

Deciding isn't the issue, however boredom is. I love change. I thrive on it.

911 operator/disptacher.

I'm probably going to make a move in the next year or so and try to go back for my master's in legal studies.

awesome! Why not a JD?

and I knew you were a 911 dispatcher. Sounds like such a stressful job to me, but I guess only if you have a lot of calls coming in, or a particularly distressing one. Otherwise, you spend your time on TFS, right?

Cool. I knew you were a teacher. Wasn't sure about the specifics. Male elementary teachers are unusual, but much needed imo. But alas, you went with PE. Was that an availability thing?

That's interesting. I wouldn't even know where to get such a diploma. I'm not particularly wanting one, but if I did, I wouldn't know where to get it.

More or less, yes. I spend a lot of time reading or poking around online during down time, but when the s*** hits the fan it hits hard. You get used to it a lot though and you thicken to people calling with real crises and just learn to stay calm in order to help them and at the same time calm them down. I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it again..the only ones that really haunt you or bug you after a while are the ones involving children that are violent or distressing, and for the most part you learn to adapt to those as well. There are only a scarce handful of calls I've dealt with in the last 12 years that still choke me up when I think of them, but they do happen.

I actually haven't ruled out a JD, but at this point I'm trying to keep my goals realistic...so Master's and then a possible paralegal position is what's on the plate. It's still in the preliminary stages though and I've been giving a lot of thought to further goals like a more advanced degree.
