I would never take diet pills (don't need to, as I am not even slightly fat). Just eat a healthy balanced diet. Lots of fresh fruit and raw or lightly cooked vegetables, nuts etc, and lean meat. get a bit of exercise everyday, and diet pills will be unnecessary.

Pills aren't a good idea, yea they'll help you lose weight but it will all go straight back on once u come off them. Exercise more have smaller food portions

All the weight loss stuff on TV, gum, pills anything, if you look close at the bottom it says

*With proper exercise and diet

..... Well there's a clue.

Edit- I just realize that sounded rude and I apologize, I didn't intend for it to be, I just think those ads are stupid because it just points out they don't really work because you can lose just as much as they say with diet and exercise alone. I suggest trying that! Good luck. I'm going to start trying too soon, I just have low ambition lol

Depends what type of pills. Do you take a multivitamin? I take natural vitamin and mineral supplements as we are not able to get the right amount of nutrition from the food we eat.
I also take smoothies/shakes as meal replacement in a weight managament program. I can send details if you like.

Pills just give you a new problem, they're not worth it. My cousin tried Alli- it did embarrassing things to her intestinal track Exercise has worked for me. Take it slow, when I did the fast route it came back fast. Over the last five years I've lost 60 lbs., I eat what a want in moderation, and the weight stays off. Yoyo diets and pills will probably give you heart trouble. It's rough, but you can do it Oh, I chew a lot of sugarfree gum.

..."I don't really like pills"...

I think you have yourself an answer.

Eating healthy and getting regular exercise is the best way to lose weight (if you aren't already 250kgs and stuck in bed, of course). Pills may help you lose weight in the short term but most of the time, when you stop taking the pills, you'll put weight back on. Don't think of eating healthy and exercising as a diet, because it's not a diet, it's a healthy lifestyle that everyone who wants to live a long and healthy life should adopt.

Hi!
I am just wondering, would you guys recommend diet aids such as Hydroxycut or just try to eat better and exercise? I dont really like pills, but alot of people say using other aids works better. I would prefer to not pay the price down the road to lose a couple of pounds here. thanks!

I would not recommend hydroxycut. I tried that while exercising and while it worked somewhat, after the pill wears off, you are left starving! Adipex works really well and you can maybe use that (if you can get a prescription from the doctor) if you have a huge appetite. I say this b/c my appetite is huge and I take it every few days to curb my appetite.

I would recommend working out 4-5 days a week and start by cutting back on things you eat that are not very healthy. if you do it all right away you will fail, but if you start slowly, it will end up being a way of life.

Also, hot yoga is really good too, i just started that and it is amazing!

There is no such thing as a "magic pill" that will make weight loss easy.

It's usually a tough thing to do, though it does depend on the person.

Nothing beats a well designed exercise program and a strict, healthy diet when it comes to losing weight.
