Sounds daft, but I'm REALLY excited. I've only ever grown tomatoes before. I've been really impatient, looking at the bed every other hour and I thought I'd done something wrong. But they're there. And various salad greens, too. I'll probably forget to water them now and they'll all shrivel up.

I love (LOVE) peas straight from the garden. They're like little balls of sugar in a bright green shell. Whenever I'm asked to shell them you can bet that only half will end up in the pot.

Fresh peas are probably one of my favorite foods in the world. I'd put them on the same level as chocolate and bourbon. I wouldn't use them in the same dishes though.

I too love peas straight from the pod, so I must be patient when they start growing properly otherwise I'll leave none for David, who is a pea-freak (with or without bourbon).

Everytime I visit my mums, me and my little sister take a venture in the garden and eat all the peas. We just can't stop ourselves!

It's so good to grow something and eat it. I've just had some baby salad leaves for my lunch. God, I sound like a 6-year-old.

I hope so. If it works, will you plant another one?

It's fun growing a garden and getting to eat what comes out of it!

We have Tomatoes, radishes, onions, carrots, green beans, green peppers, jalapenos and cucumbers...as well as some basil and cilantro!

It's so awesome!
