I've seen several questions on how TFSers use smilies such as or and several more.

A list of smilies (most of them) can be found here, in a journal entry kyahbean so kindly made a while back: link [www.theforumsite.com]

Once you have a few that you like memorized (it comes easily, no worries ) what you do is you type in a colon, the smiley keyword, and then another colon. So if I wanted to get this smiley: I would type this... : angel : (but without the spaces)

Other smilies can be found on sites specifically for forum smilies. For those types of smilies you must use the img tags. So, you write... [ img ](URL Here)[ /img ] (again without the spaces.)

If you see a smiley you would like to use, but you don't know the code, you can simply quote the person who used the smiley, read exactly how they did it, and then do it yourself! So if you quote this post, you will see my smiley codes, not my smilies.

I'm not old enough!

If he decides to three years from now (long range thinker here ) I'll be perfectly fine with that. But for now I'll enjoy my time as a regular TFS poster.

That would be unfair to everyone else! TFS is fair, isn't it?!

I just simply thought that it would be easier to read about everything in one thread than put together bits and pieces in other threads.

Then there is another nasty little trick....

If the punter above, ( or anywhere else for that matter ), has inserted a smiley that you like, all you need to do is to hotlink to it by right-clicking on it, click on the "properties" option that comes up, copy the addy that then appears into your clipboard and paste it into your compose form with the "img" tags added front and back.

BINGO... the super little smiley will reappear in your posting !

Let me warn you though...."HOTLINKING" in some quarters is frowned upon !

I agree..Plus you act a lot older and mature then most people that are older then you. Sometimes I forget your younger then me..Plus age is just a number..Tino should really consider it!!
