I go to the gyno in a half hour. I'm scared of docs period. But this is worse because I think something's really wrong with me! I haven't had a period in 2 months, not pregnant, and I am so worried they're gonna find something horrible! I am having a panic attack right now, and I think I'm dying! Any thoughts?

It's nothing to panic about and it doesn't mean you're dying. I have irregular periods....without taking birth control pills, I can have as few as 1 period in a year. It's a hormonal thing. I wouldn't worry or freak out about it. You'll probably have to have some blood work to check hormone levels, but it could be as simple as that.

Try not to worry, might be something and nothing, stress can cause them to stop. We'll be here when you get back.

Kidding! It should be ok! I remember thinking I was going to die because I was having severe intestinal pains. I wound paying the doc $50 to tell me I was full of s***.

Thanks for all the support. After being poked and prodded and tested for everything, they decided my cycle was just real screwed up because of stress and on-again off-again bc pill use. So they gave me a new brand of pill to start sunday, hopefully to jump start my cycle. And I will know if anything is really abnormal in 2 weeks. On a good note, they asked if I was interested in quitting cigarettes, so I said yes. They gave me a support number to call, so I got off my lazy a** and called it. Now I will be getting free gum in the mail to help start, plus I can call the line for support and ideas on what to do instead of smoking. I'm ready for that.

Sounds like your hormones have gone wakey. if that's the case the gyno will probably give you birth control to make you regular again.
On the bright side, a gyno visit can be fun if the doctor is a hot guy.
