bless, i have had friends phoning me this am asking me what happened cos they slept through it. never mind. the way things are going we should be having another one soonenough. everything is changing on the planet and according to the news the uk gets about 200 earth tremours a year but we dont notice them cos they are so minor. this one at 5.2 is a fairly biggish one for the uk

I've slept through 3 bloody earthquakes now, well sort of.

There was the one last night, that one that happened a few years ago and one that we had when we were in Turkey.

The one in Turkey actually happened while we were travelling into the resort the day we got there and because we were on a coach, the shaking just felt normal so we never realised until we saw all the boulders on the road that had fell from the cliffs! We weren't allowed into the hotel for a while and when we were eventually allowed in we were put on the top floor.

My dad said "oh at least if we have another earthquake and the building collapses we'll be found first"

Yea dad, that's a great way to ease my feelings

There's not really an upper limit to it, but around 9 is the highest earthquakes have been on earth.
