I just love tornadoes, thunderstorms and dangerous weather! I have had a deep passion for weather since childhood and as of now I am currently interested in storm-chasing and meteorology. The sad part about it is that where I live, the weather is...blah. Anyway, I just would like to know if anyone else share this same passion?

Well, I love thunderstorms(especially in the summer) and hailstorms (in Jersey, we only get like one or two hailstorms during the summer, but I find them strangely comforting)

I lived in Oklahoma when the BIG one hit. There are tornadoes there all the time. It's exhilarating and scary to be close to one. I've been close to several, and it's not something that I wanna chase.

They're neat to see in the daytime, with a lot of distance between you and it, but the night tornadoes can cause an embolism!

Weather is fascinating tho!

So, have you never actually experienced one? If you haven't be careful for what you wish for. They're awesome to see from a distance but pretty damn scary upclose.

I think tornadoes are beautiful. That movie twister was cool, but the ride in Universal Studios SUCKS! I was in Florida when the hurricanes hit, and the eye of hurricane charlie passed right over us, we ran outside and it was so cool being in the eye of the storm and then we ran back in when it started again. I love bad weather parties, it's adventurous.

No not really liking tornados! I lived in MS (Meridian) for a few years and the weather was always bad there

ahhhhh! I read the title as TOMATOES are awesome.

Hmm..Actully, tomatoes being awesome makes more sense to me than tornadoes. Tornadoes freak me out.

I've always wanted to see a tornado - but only from a safe place where there is no chance of me being hit.


I wonder if I can find an aromatherapy candle made of xanax?

We had a tornado warning today but no tornado I was hoping the funnel cloud would touch down in a field across the street so that I could have a clear view. I'll just keep my hopes up for next time

Dangerous weather is invigorating for me, I LOVE to chase storms, if i could. i'd live in a place that it would rain all the time. Just the other day my by closest friends went chasing this tornado, after it let up and began to rain REALLY HEAVILY, we all stripped to our essentials and jumped in the river! IT WAS A BLAST!
