I just love tornadoes, thunderstorms and dangerous weather! I have had a deep passion for weather since childhood and as of now I am currently interested in storm-chasing and meteorology. The sad part about it is that where I live, the weather is...blah. Anyway, I just would like to know if anyone else share this same passion?

Well, I love thunderstorms(especially in the summer) and hailstorms (in Jersey, we only get like one or two hailstorms during the summer, but I find them strangely comforting)


Anyone who isn't paranoid simply isn't paying attention.

I lived in Oklahoma when the BIG one hit. There are tornadoes there all the time. It's exhilarating and scary to be close to one. I've been close to several, and it's not something that I wanna chase.

They're neat to see in the daytime, with a lot of distance between you and it, but the night tornadoes can cause an embolism!

Weather is fascinating tho!

So, have you never actually experienced one? If you haven't be careful for what you wish for. They're awesome to see from a distance but pretty damn scary upclose.

I think tornadoes are beautiful. That movie twister was cool, but the ride in Universal Studios SUCKS! I was in Florida when the hurricanes hit, and the eye of hurricane charlie passed right over us, we ran outside and it was so cool being in the eye of the storm and then we ran back in when it started again. I love bad weather parties, it's adventurous.
