No seriously, i'm debating. I've had AT&T for a couple years now. I'm tired of the shoddy service, dropped calls, false promises (upgrades).

So, tech savvy people, what good and bad things have you heard about this new Droid phone being offered from Verizon?

Is it a challenger to the iPhone?

It seems like the most hyped phone that I've seen since the iPhone came out. There's this news article that came out this morning called, "November 6th, the Day Android Broke" (as in broke out onto the market) that seems to think that the Droid is the next iPhone. At any rate, the Verizon network will be better.

I used to have Verizon back in the day. I started with Airtouch Cellular, and then Verizon bought them out. I remember having decent service with no major complaints. Although back then it was mostly Nokia phones without all the new bells and whistles of todays phones.

Verizon's cell service is really good. That Droid doesn't look that appealing to me, though.

I always hated Verizon's customer service though. I dreaded anytime I'd need to call them because I'd always end up on hold for like 45 minutes. I don't have that problem at all with T-Mobile. I read a rumor that the Droid is coming to T-Mobile, I may just wait and see if that's true.
