Thundershowers or Rain Storms at Night

Have you ever been scared at night when their has been Thundershowers or Rain Storms with epic Thundering at night time. I'm talking about between 9:45 and 11:30pm, not when the sun is up for another 3 hours. Your stuck in the house, either with your family, hubby or all by your lonesome. Have any old tales or scary fables made you paranoid around a time like this? Would it be worse if during the storm, the power in the entire town goes out? You think that doll collection, toy clown, or picture of an ancestor is harmless now?

Werewolves like fighting in Thunderstorms.

Scared of the other stuff in the room? No.

Scared that lightning was going to strike a tree near me and send it crashing through my roof? Yes.

I can only remember being afraid during one recent storm and it was during the day. The thing was, the thunder was so close, I figured the lightning must have been within a few blocks.

I tend to be more frightened by windstorms these days.

Vampires like playing baseball during thunderstorms...

No, I love hearing storms when I'm trying to sleep. It's so calming. I love watching storms as well, there's something very peaceful about being on the inside looking out at the chaos with a nice cup of tea.

Of course when you're in a tent without rubber or anything to insulate against lightning anywhere then it's a bit different.

All this talk of rains and storms! I have to go potty.
