41/M/New Haven, Connecticut Join Date: May 2006 | Interesting point you make, but Like Obama said the most segregated hour is on Sunday. He has been the only man in our time to call out black and whites on their racism while running for president. You have to love this country more then the presidency to say condem the racism that becomes apparent on Sunday by Christians.

I never imagined that a Christian church affiliation could teach so much hate in it.

I have to admit, if I went to a church and the minister started talking about how the blacks in America are the cause of all our problems, etc, I would get up and walk out of that church and never go back because I DO believe in God's love for all mankind no matter what color we are. I sure wouldn't stay 20 years and then try to dismiss it as "it's not really how I feel." You don't raise children in a church you don't agree with their teachings. No one does. | | |
