Metaphorically Speaking
It slid into the station near her home. Shiny, sleek, mysterious temptation that caused her to perhaps wish to go on the journey it would be taking. She hadn’t much noticed them before other than for the purpose of transportation. This one had an air of cockiness which tempted her. People, especially women, were attracted to something, she didn’t know what for several days. Unable to sleep she went to take a look, it was just a damn train, how could that hurt? Each night she’d awaken to seductive sounds. Every time she’d listen she’d hear nothing but the train. “You know I am able to help you in ways no one ever has, “she heard the voice call. “You’ve never been around anything like me, please let me take you to a place I know you’ll be happy.””How does a train become so pompous? Vanity personified.”crossed her mind. This was getting more and more ridiculous, she went for a walk. As she thought, perplexed by what she saw, the doors opened. It owned her, she went aboard.
