How can you explain the grandeur of the.. white nations in comparison with all the chaos in Africa? How can you explain why the whites got so good while the black people didn't do so well, without resorting to racism?

I think alot of it stems from the geographic features like drought and alot stems from the destruction caused by colonialism.

I'm sure someone will provide you with a much more comprehensive answer though.

Just the hot tip mate. NEVER start a sentence with, "it might sound racist, but....." you're just putting a bullseye on your head.

You know very little about other countries if you think that there is only grandeur in white countries. There are many very wealthy and grand oil rich countries that would not see themselves as white.

Africa has a large portion of land which is entirely barren. Which means the areas around the coast and those where crops can grow are taken by the strongest most corrupt and by people from other nations with more cash.

Geographically the land in the "white world" is more fruitful.

Yep because India's a hell hole, so's South America. Hong Kong? Nope it's a war zone and let's not get into the wasteland that is Canada or the US.

Oh dude, don't reply to what the post is referring to. Apparently, we're not supposed to do that.

Well f*** that, if I want to be racist I'll damn well do so.

This is what happens if you hang around my nan long enough.

24/7 tutting and casual racism.

My nan doesnt even mean it. When my grandad was in the hospice she told this white nurse, "oh you're all very caring arent you? even the black lady". I was absolutely petrified

My grandparents were the same way. I think it was just the product of the generation they grew up in.

Oh man! out of the mouths of the retired hey?

I can understand the older generations being this way though. They were raised in a different time. Also with WW2, Vietnam, well I don't think we need to go down THAT road...

Edit - Just remembered something my Granddad said when watching an olympic swimming event. His eyesight was well on the way out, but his remarks about an indian swimmer saying "Why is that guy wearing a wet suit?" we explained what was going on, he just said "Oh, I didn't know they could swim, do they have swimming pools over there?"

Do you people think that racism is born out of fear, ignorance or a superiority complex?
