No I'm now considering Opeth as the best metal band...in my opinion of course.

Ghost Reveries, Damnation, Deliverance, Blackwater Park and Still Life are pure genius...I've not heard the earlier albums though.

I have all their albums..I like songs like Master's Apprentice,Drapery Falls,Deliverance,Ghost of Perdition,Window Pane and some more..Opeth is a good progressive death metal band,but their songs seems to be quite alike..don't you agree??Overall they are very good,but there's still to go before being considered as the best..

Yeah that's true...Still Life was the last album I got hold of, I started from their latest and went backwards. It seemed very familiar, definitely, but still very good.

i don't really think you can say one band is the best metal band because you had different great bands who influenced each genre so its harder just to pick one.
