The Use of the word "Gays"

I don't know about you but I find the word dricotroy, or used in a dricotroy way, rather than addressing a group of people together.

"gays" I don't know why but it starting to turn into a slur..

There also seems to be a total disrespect toward people of the homosexual nature. Why? why do people feel that way toward that section ofyour community.

But we are down to the same argument with evolution and creationism, it the same problem with being a "Gay" apparently its a way of living.. and not natural..

I have news for you homophobic people... its nature.. it cant be healed.. it cant be treated and it certainly cant be solved with religion (although religion has a high number of gay people among them..).

Lets make it clear, I am a straight guy, that has a lot of gay friends, and it really hurts me when i see the small minded comments people make to them in broad daylight!

I call people gay all the time at work, they call me gay and the thet'll offer to nosh me of or something. We're always making remarks about it.

It's only like calling a guy a 'girl' or a 'big girls blouse' for being a wuss IMO, not all girls are wuss's but no one seems to mind that.

I honestly have no issues with a persons sexuality. It's totaly their business and as long as no one is getting hurt then there is no issue to me. I've said before though and I will repeat it that I hate the whole "camp" thing. Your sexuality doesn't affect the way you speak or the way you walk.. er actually maybe it does affect the way you walk

Yes ish, the word camp doesnt just refer to gay people. Also, i didnt say ALL gays are camp, i said some are more effeminate. The squeely crying ones who mince about.

I have 2 guys at work who act like that. They're both straight. They even carry man-bags. Everyone thinks that they're gay, but they're not, they're just squealy mincing guys.

"Metrosexuals"?

I'm guessing that might be where they might fit, but they're not all that concerned with their appearances. Of course, when you work on a loading dock, appearances don't really matter much anyway.

I use it the same way use the word "retarded". Retarded=stupid. Words like that have multiple meanings. It all depends on how you use the word.
