I'd say the majority of your contribution (or argument) to this topic is indeed off-topic. As far as the imagination of ancient people is concerned, I'd say in order to "prove" the existence of aliens or sightings of UFOs we'd need to search the past.
I'll give you that they didn't know anything about the planets...
Yet, they have left us with their cuneiformic representations of numbered bodies in our solar system. Earth was represented as a 7-pointed star... looking from the outside of our solar system, Pluto being the first body, Earth is indeed the 7th planet. The 6th planet was represented by a 6-pointed star and described as a barren, red world.
