I saw a shirt today that said "There are two types of people in the world... TEXANS and those who wish they were"

I don't wish I was a Texan.

I feel the same way. Texas is way too hot for me, for one thing. The other is . . . I'd have to be from Texas. No thank you, sir.

I don't know. I don't even really get that "Remember the Alamo" bit. It always sounded to me like those people lost the Alamo fair and square. And didn't their friends then ambush the enemy the next day? I don't know.

I remember hearing that the environmental committee for Texas was trying to get Bush to stop saying "Don't Mess with Texas" because it was originally created as something for anti-pollution. That's about all I know about Texas. Oh, and this . . .

"Only two things come from Texas, steers and queers, and you don't look like a steer to me boy."

Sorry, I had to do that.

Well, I'm Texan...sometimes I wish I wasn't, because my accent gets way too thick and then you can't understand me.

Which is better, TExas or Missouri. I'm not a big fan of either state, though I must admit that is rather dumb of me. You can't judge an entire state by a few people from that state.

Well, I was born in Illinois and then I moved to Texas, then to Missouri. I think I'd have to choose Missouri b/c my Texan self seems to fit better there, but Illinois is always my home.

Same here. That's pretty much why I don't care much for those states. Most of my relatives are wife-beaters, child-beaters, and hicks.

Hicks are around where I live...hell, I live in the middle of the woods and it takes an hour for the school bus to get me to and from school!

Eh, I've been there before (kind of). Being surrounded by hicks is never fun. I'm surrounded by them around here as well.

It was so funny when we drove through missouri...there 2 pretty much only 2 kinds of billboards: Ads for strippers and strip clubs, and DNA paternity testing services. So I said, "We don' know who yer daddy is, but yer momma's a stripper!"

Lol, that's great.

My family would go to Missouri maybe once a year to visit my granparents (people who didn't care about me or my brother). They didn't even have indoor plumbing. We had to use an outhouse. And this was not even fifteen years ago!
