well hell we can't have that. I won't vote for obama just to do my part to help keep you out of jail and to prolong your natural life expectancy .

I was assuming there'd be no other reason for Nugent to be in jail or to be killed himself.

What else could he have meant by that statement? He certainly is not talking about his own suicide.

He could be predicting his own assassination...you know, like MLK's.

I took it to mean defeat Obama in the upcoming election and using some quite colorful language to motivate the NRA folks.



He was talking to an NRA group. I took it to mean that he feels Obama is a threat to the 2nd amendment and that he'd die protecting his guns and/or be in jail for protecting his gun rights.

Ted Nugent is a highly vocal conservative, pro 2nd amendment, tea party type of individual. This isn't the first time he's opened his mouth in such a manner and it won't be the last.

I personally find, regardless of what he believes, that he expresses himself very badly and it makes him come off poorly.

That makes a lot more sense.
