I'm looking for bands that are like The Epoxies or The Soviettes, with a bit more electro influence.

Have you tried going to link [www.myspace.com] and clicking on music and then looking under "punk" it will come up with a stack of bands:

Sorry it only allows you to look at the genres once you've joined! but there's thousands of punk bands on there to check out so it may be worth you joining, plus you'll make a lot of like minded friends too

I'm actually surprised that you guys haven't heard of these bands, I mean I guess if you're not really into Punk then I could understand, but if you have a grasp of real Punk and current Punk bands you should really look into these bands. The Soviettes were a really great political group that just broke up a couple years ago and The Epoxies are just fun, heavy on the synthisizers but Punk not New Wave.

I've never heard of The Soviettes, but I have heard of the Epoxies...
I'm not into pop/synth stuff...

You should give The Soviettes a try, they're not really all that synthie and they're not pop in my opinion. Which is actually why I'm looking for similar bands. And I enjoy The Epoxies but I could see why others wouldn't.

Yes I have. Not completely sold on what little I've heard from The Red Rockers but I can dig them, its just wierd to think that the band that did "Guns of Revolution" did "China". And Stiff Little Fingers is one of my favorite bands! Inflammable Material is one of the greatest albums of all time. Every time I hear the intro to Suspect Device I go nuts. I could be having a terrible day and that song starts playing and I'm on cloud nine.

Nemo and Ladytron are good electro based bands, as well as IAMX and Hadouken! if you're into New Wave/Grindie stuff.
