38/F/, Florida Join Date: Aug 2007 | I can not decide what kind of freaking car to buy!!! It's making me nuts trying to make up my mind. I want to be smart, but I want a car I actually would enjoy driving. Unfortunately, that sort of rules out all the little fuel-efficient cars. Sorry, I know it's terrible for the environment, but I LIKE bigger, faster cars.
I thought I’d go for a Mini Cooper, but I felt it didn’t really suit me. I’m actually leaning towards the Mustang GT. It’s not the wisest move for fuel economy, but it’s not the worst either.
If you were going to buy a moderately priced car, what would it be?

Check out the Chevy Cobalt SS/Pontiac G5 GT, too. I hear those are a blast, and they still get over 30 mpg highway.
I saw that the new cobalt ss will now get over 260 hp. It will definitely be on the fastest compact cars in the market. Or if you want to spend more for an even faster compact car, you can look into that one suburu suped up compact car, i forgot what it's called. | | |
