I started my own Retail Grocery Store. Went to Secretary of State and registered my business and my business name. It is a Corporation. Now what I need to know is what’s next. This may seem like a broad and general question but I have no idea what to do. I’m looking for a place to rent, but I don’t know what else to do. What’s involved in opening a food store, I know that its harder than opening other types of stores because of the food issue.

Please, any information will be helpful.

THANKS for any help.

It seems to me if you're starting something of that magnitude you should probably hire a business attorney to help you go through all the steps.

Professional Advice would ensure that you have everything covered, and perhaps a very necessary expenditure as there may be those little nitty gritty details that may be looked over and cause you serious problems in the future.

But these may help as a start. link [www.cfsan.fda.gov]

You need to do a lot of research before you start this business off. Tax, laws, etc.

Hello,

You should consult with business attorney because you need to

learn lots of things about property dealing.

Before dealing with any attorney you need to make sure you have access to the fund required to start the business.

Make sure you start to separate your personal credit from your business credit and start building strong business credit. Once you do that then you can get the financing necessary to start your business.
