Join Date: Jul 2006 | On a forum I used to go on they had an adult forum, people had to apply to the mods to be able to have access and meet certain criteria for the mods to approve them (be a certain age, certain points etc..)
I was wondering what people thought of TFS having something like this, so that the smut etc is kept away

I know that, but anyone could access it, my suggestion is that only people who want to and are allowed have access to it

I know, but on the other forum I know that was the reason why the person had to have been on a certain time, because the mods would have a better feel for the person, and it also took about a week for the approval to come through, which gave the mods time to check you out

I understand. But how would they decide who gets access and who doesn't? & how do you handle TOS in that forum, in a totally different way to the rest of the site?
Personally, I quite like the fact that TFS doesn't have adult/mature content. Sites that do attract a very different clientelle - I've been on those sites and seen how people interact.
