Here are some simple tips to improve the quality of everyone's TFS experience.
1. Everyone is different. We all have different opinions and like different things. If you disagree, either debate like an adult, or say nothing.
2. Read the whole post, and get the whole picture before commenting. Don't go off half cocked, it's you that will look bad. If you can't, won't or don't understand all of the facts, say nothing.
3. You don't have to be saccharine sweet and lovely all the time. But you don't have to be nasty at all. If you can't at least be constructive, say nothing.
4. Insults are not a regular part of mature discussion. Leave it on the playground. If you can't reach the end of a sentance without calling someone an a*****e, say nothing.
5. Just because a message is private, that doesn't mean it's ok to use them to insult another member. If PM abuse is reported, the sender will be dealt with quickly.
6. If you don't like what someone has to say, use the block button. It's what it's there for. Resorting to insults or pointless negative kudos is not acceptable.
I don't know about the other members, or even the other mods, but I am sick to death with reading posts about a member having been hurt by another member. We all come here to chill out and chat with friends. There is absolutely no need for conflict on a site where you can pick and choose your friends, and block those people who's views you don't want to read.
