Yea but it's their decision.

Here is a flip... What if it was natural to be gay and weird to be heterosexual? And gay people were allowed to get married and hetero people weren't.

How would you feel if you couldn't get married.. (don't say relieved)

In almost all states, it's strictly against the law for two people of the same sex to be married.

Yes, the population would be a lot smaller. LOL

Yea pretty sure it's not recognized. Just not done. Not allowed. Can't be done legally...

I think who ever came up with the idea should be shot, twice, in the head, with a rocket launcher. Besides the religious issues, if I had a kid the last thing I'd want him or her to see is 2 guys doing anything in that line to each other. Marriage is sacred and should be kept the way it is. It's bad enough society let homosexuality into it in the 1st place.

I'm completely against it. I still can't get over the fact that my country's government actually legalized it.

Hahaha I would be though... I think it should be legal though. I agree with all the reasons listed above. I think it is natural and more importantly...it is none of my business who someone else wants to be with.

I'm assuming if it is illegal there would be some form of punishment involved, either a fine or jail time. If either one of those isn't present, why not just go ahead and get married?

Because you can't get married.

Two men can't get a marriage license.

Most states specifically ban same-sex marriages. It's not that you can do it and the state may not recognize it. It's that you are legally barred from actually doing it in the first place.

I don't see why people have this problem with gays. Like "Should gays be allowed to adopt" why the hell not?
