What is the most effective way of doing it?

I'd like to o it without getting red bumps afterward.
Any tips?
Do I just have to continuously do it in every shower to stop them?

Thanks!

Don't do it, Garden's without shaving are more fun, you can get lost in them.

Lotion? My friend would mix baby powder and lotion and she said she never got them. I just shave and itch for a few days, then it goes away.

i think what u mention are ingrow hairs?? exfoliate .. theres exfoliating gloves or washes...

i think the lotion above works too..

I have considered waxing, I'm still looking for an at home wax kit specifically for this area.

Not, I don't think it's ingrown hairs (I don't seem to get them) but they're like irritation bumps.

My girlfriend had the same problem until she plucked them out individually.

I wish I never started shaving down below cause it leaves me with a rash for days and grows back too stubbly lol. Can't use waxing strips or cream cause it gives me a bad rash for weeks

Wouldn't electric hair trimmers do a good enough job? They trim pretty close now days and I'm pretty sure that there is a "ladies" model out there somewhere. If there isn't, perhaps it would be a good time to invent one. Besides, the trim is just for comfort isn't it? Or, is it for appearances? Like a bikini trim? I don't think anyone would be able to get close enough (to your part you are describing) to see any stubble. No matter how you remove the unwanted hair, there's going to be some stubble in a few days anyway, so just keep it trimmed with electric trimmers. The buzz those things make could also have other redeeming qualities that may make trimming your "garden" more enjoyable.

The skin is not used to any attention down there so it kicks up a fuss when suddenly it gets shaved and all kinds of lotion thrown on it.

When you shave do not use soap, use something like Oilatum or E45. Yes it will f*** up your razor.

Apply E45 every night. In the shower exfoiliate, there WILL be ingrowing hairs, they are not used to being cut therefore they do not know which way to grow. After exfoilating use some talcum powder to soothe the area and DO NOT SCRATCH.

If you get some bumps you can draw out the hair and pus with some tweezers and antibiotic cream.

It takes about six months before the skin and hair gets used to the regeime, which is why many women give up on it and only bother on vacation time.
