The sex forum has been closed due to too much mature/inappropriate/borderline inappropriate content. It was just too difficult to "police" all the topics in their and create clear guidelines for what is or isn't allowed. And it's cheaper to shut down that forum than the entire site

*UPDATE*
The TOS has also been updated to prohibit posting of material that is adult or mature in nature.

I think its a great idea, it will stop perverts joining and making loads of sex threads in order to cruise for possible cyber buddies or worse. Lets face it, we have plenty of other things to talk about and the sex threads and sooooo repeititve you get to the point where you heard it all and its so boring.

what i'm getting at is...are we to no longer post off-color jokes, use profanity in a post, etc. i rarely post in the sex forum, so it really makes no difference to me.
