Jezzy143![]() , Kentucky | #1 I recently found out I was pregnant by a urine test at the doctors office. My first appointment with the gyno is on May 15. Which is like a month away only because they told me that I needed to be at least 10 weeks before I can come in. So here I am...waiting. I've googles stages and looked up what to expect. But I can't help but to feel like this is all not real... I guess because I can't feel anything besides the nausea or mild cramping. Its scary to be this scared to lose something or if its a false positive... Maybe it's my hormones going crazy... I just don't know.... any advice to make me feel better?!

sister_of_mercy![]() London, United Kingdom | #3 Yeah just relax, take a few deep breaths and make sure you take care of yourself. The doctor will be able to give you some advice and there's plenty of people you can talk to (including your own mum) if you're worried. You've got a long time before you need to be worried about being a mum so just focus on being healthy and happy for now.

| Eaglebauer FOSSOR SAPIENS ![]() Saint Louis, Missouri | #4 Your anxiety is normal and mixed with the fact that you're body is undergoing changes at a rapid rate, it's no wonder you're feeling it. I think talking with the doctor to snap things to reality for you will help. Congratulations and stay healthy! Live well...be well... | ||||||

It is always possible that it is a false positive. The other signs don't necessarily happen so they're not an indication of anything. Heck, even if you did have nausea and cramping it could be coincidental and not related to pregnancy. My best advice would be...stop worrying. Worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you anywhere.
