It's a while since i saw Apt Pupil but the non horror stories seem to have been better films... See above Stand by Me, Shawshank Redemption, Secret Window, etc.....

Another one of my favourite is Dark Half and they killed that in the film version whats worse they killed with a decent actor playing a double role...

Just praying all film companies stay away from Dark Tower i love it but it just won't transfer well at all...

Dark Tower is awesome, gets pretty deep into a lot of things and there are many characters from his other books.

Those who don't believe in evolution haven't benefited from it.

The Dark Tower is real good.... I read them all back to back last year there's only one thing that kinda annoys me a little... still gotta read the short story Sisters of Illueria which is a prequel to them and Insomnia which ties in but when you read it you'll find a lot of his work ties back into the Stephen King Mythos.

I haven't actually seen Tim Robbins in much else? but yeah totally cool film on all fronts.

Did you guys see Secret Window, as far as i'm aware it's supposed to be semi autobiographical (not the murders and such but the split with his wife)

Secret Window you'll guess the twist pretty early but it's still worth a watch, it is done with a sense of humour...
