I really really enjoyed Insomnia, Green Mile was fantastic! I am collecting his books now!

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for something I'm not...

Gerald's Game was not boring. In fact, I was really impressed with King's ability to get into the mid of his main character. As to Koontz...typically his books folow the same pattern over and over again. The majority of his books are, in my opinion, dull as dishwater. I've tried reading many of his books and have to force myself to finish them.

Sorry Inkblob i gotta run with Vizzy on this. I like Geralds game because it's dark not because of a monster/ghost/unfortunate mental illness it's dark because of the lead characters isolation and own fears and paranoia I loved Geralds Game and have since recommended it to King readers who've fallen out with his writing.

I have to say i think the ever popular Shining is one of his worst and i've abandonned it many times after attempting to read it.

Jaunt is about the intergalatic space travel that sends you across the galaxy in hours but you must go to sleep... It follows a family as they prepare to travel but the youngest child palletes the sleeping pill because he wants to know what happens when they travel.... I won't tell you the end incase you decide to re read but its a basic tale of curiosity killed the cat...

Did you see the film they made of Apt Pupil with Ian Mckellen...?
