There are 17 of them here waiting to load Cattle on board at Helen Station in Australias Northern Territory.
These Trucks are not to be played with when fully loaded or empty, they are 54 meters long(roughly 178 feet long) and travel down Dirt or sealed roads at 130 Kilometers an hour(Again roughly 82 Miles an Hour).
On a Dirt Road,a Car driver is better off getting out of their way,and by that I mean, getting off the road as far as you can possibly get, they throw up stones as big as a House Brick and Bigger and the dust cloud can last 30 mins or more..
On a sealed road, you stay back, but pull out and flash your lights,so he knows your going pass.
You then wait for a signal from the driver, which will be one or two flashes of the indicator.
He will them move to the left as far as he can,you go to the right as far as you can and floor the accelerator and go as fast as you can, once past keep going for about 2 kilometers before slowing down a bit.
Many a tourist who didn't know the rules of Driving with a Road Train has been killed try to get past one, they create so much turbulants, that a Car and Caravan will be sucked underneath them, and nobody has survived to tell the tale.
