Here is a website that details better the "phenomena" of reverse speech:

As for me, I think some of the reverse phrases could have been intentionally place on the audio tracks. Some of the reverse phrases could simply just sound like real speech, just garbled version of the audio in reverse that aren't anything special...
Some of the audio sounds chillingly real, however. Such as the reversal done of the Beatles' hit song "Help!". It can be clearly heard "Now he uses marijuana" and you can even hear the chorus in the background singing it.
Here's a page from the same site that contains music reversals... be sure to check the other reversal so you can judge for yourself.

Perhaps one of the biggest known reverse audio tracks is Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, where multiple reversals can be heard. At the very end of the song, the last sung words are "And she's buying a stairway to heaven", when reversed it sounds an awful lot like "backwards, hear words sung." And earlier in the song there are few other phrases that can be heard...

Like I said, I think the reversed tracks could have easily been made to sound the way they do... however, I also think it's possible that they were unintentional, as it seems is the case with some of the audio clips of live radio shows and conversations.
I'm not one to judge. I think it's interesting. What do you think?
People often ask, "What is the world coming to?" - I simply ask, "What is the world?" | | |
