Dear Rappers,

I hate you. You have given my neighbors on the other side of the wall WAY too much worthless noise to keep me awake with. I can't sleep, concentrate, relax, or anything that requires NOT listening to BET.

Dear Neighbors,

IT'S TOO LOUD! Are you deaf? I have a hearing problem, but I can hear your s*** loud and clear. I wish I knew what kind of music annoyed YOU the most so I could blast it through the wall over yours. Why do people who listen to rap ALWAYS have to blast it as loud as possible?

Can't you contact your leasing office and complain?
I'm fortunate to have thick walls. We all blast music and cant' hear each other except in the hallways.
Though I wish the floors were thick and blocked out m upstairs neighbors furniture throwing contests

In my immediate surroundings we just have shrieking kids and a dementia patient that likes to hit this aluminum fence with a stick.

Oh yeah...and my flatuence.

Sometimes we all get in a rythme and the cops get called on us.

Yeah I can understand that. People have to realize in apartments you can't do all you can in a house.
Though when I was in town I'd still hear the neighbors radio playing in their house..in my house

Go have a talk with the neighbors first. Ask them politely if they could turn it down after 8pm. Avoid bashing their flavor of music. Blasting back your music would just start a feud. Take one of your CDs over with you and play it on their system. Tell them that you can hear their music loud and clear and want to hear what yours sounds like on their system. Try to be neighborly and negotiate and solution.

Can't pick your neighbors but you sure can make them want to move in a hurry. We did and without breaking any laws or being rude either.

But they're a let's just say 'different' type people.

They don't have it on after 8pm. Just early in the day, when I'M trying to sleep, but when it would sound b****y to ask them to turn it down. Yet another reason I'm whining about it online instead.

This is a common problem and an annoying one. The biggest problem is that it's going to lower the value of housing in the neighborhood making housing avaiable to more youth with stereos and rap albums.

It's actually just a traditional family on the other side of the wall. I think it's their teenagers' music though. Some nights, I randomly hear someone playing a piano. I just don't understand why everyone I've ever met who listens to rap BLASTS it like it's a concert.
