In the computer age it's easier to write and edit, but my muse doesn't like electronic things. Tonight I counted my journals. Twenty seven, eek!!! Do you journal, write on what ever is there or do everything on the comp.? Just curious.
I write only on the computer. It's faster. But for long works, for important works, I print them out and edit with pen and paper in hand.

I tend to use the computer for everything. But I always have a pad of paper handy. Just in case.
Some times I think it's age, sometimes comfort zone. The comp is cold to me and the emotions don't flow. I'm always curled up in a chair with my thoughts, relaxed. Some nights it's 4 a.m. and I'm trying to see as I jot things in a journal, which never leaves my side.

I think everybody has their own way of doing things. What works for one, may not for another. That's at least part of what makes everyones work so personal.
Do not adjust your mind. There is a fault in reality.

When I was writing my novel I mostly used the computer but I soon found I couldn't get along without my handy dandy yellow legal pad by my side. I kept getting spur of the moment ideas as I was composing a chapter and if I didn't reach over to my pen and paper right away and jot the idea down then most times the idea would just vanish and I'd swear a lot. By the time I was finished with the novel (nearly 9 years, believe it or not) I had a ton of hand written (or hand scribbled!) notes. It was fun to go through them and see which ones actually made it into the book.
Have you seen this

I write exclusively on paper.
My mind goes blank if I start at the comp. I type in and edit, that's it.
