i had 2 take a picture with vibrant colours and this was the most striking this i had infront of me at the park


this had kinda the same idea as the pic b4 only i had 2 take a picture where the background was out of focus from the main idea of the picture here was my attempt


agen same idea with this one, flower in midddle is in focud but behind n infront is blurred (just about)


this was me jus bein random as i liked the colours n i think this pic came out very well


this 1 was actually spose 2 b the pic where the background is blurred and the foreground focused, but it seems that it came out more focused that i had anticipated, this is the 1 i REALLY want comments on


sorry some of u mite find this one gross but it was jus such a stricking red that i had 2 take a pic, and the contrast with his bluew shorts jus screamed "capture me"


this is my baby brother bein "gangsta" but i really liked the way the red stood out on his top in this, and how the white n fine black line also stood out, such vibrant colours agen


next two pictures r purely random but i felt that theyre werent plain and deserved to be published on here




this pic was my "cool colours" pic, i felt that the blue n green pain made it feel cold, also the fact that its a brick wall n theyre usually very cold added to the effect


this final one was the only great pic i managed to take of a flower up close and im very pleased with it

On the one you really wanted comments on, where you want the background blurred, you were shooting at f/9.0 and ISO 800.

It's pretty much impossible to get a shallow depth of field at an aperture that small. You want to be shooting at something more like f/4 or lower, if possible.

To get the same exposure, you need to enlarge your aperture and decrease the ISO.

On the first pic:

Do a tighter, more square crop on the balls themselves. Make it a little more abstract.

#3 almost looks like a mistake. If you want it to be obvious that the flower is the subject, you have to crop it WAY down.
