i would love to learn italian at some stage jus so i can go over there and talk to
the locals and stuff..

Italian is so much like french if you know one its pretty easy to know the other one lol I started to learn Italian ages ago but found it too similar to french so I stopped

well i know the basic pretty much, 2 yrs. in french cla** helped me....but whats with the verbs and what not? all that confuses me....like parle, they would change it to parlez, or something like that...?why?

Oh they do that if you need to allied or if its an ir verb but then again it also depends on if your doing avoir or etre.
that part always confussed me as well
