I would say in general females can sustain a higher level of pain then men, but we're smart enough to cry before it really starts to hurt.

Oooh that's cheating. But you are right of course. We had a machine in our hospital where I worked, the female nurses proved that their pain threshold was far higher than us males.

I'm a coward with pain. My body goes into complete shock, yet when G has a tattoo he just sits there like nothing is happening... when I have one, I grit my teeth and try not to cry!

We go through labor pains. I wonder how a man could take that.

I'm sure I read somewhere that women have a much higher pain threshold than women but men are also more sensative to pain or something like that.

That's a well know fact that one,I for one wouldn't like to go through the pain of Child Birth, just the thought is bad enough.

Yet I have heard it said,it's a pain you women forget very quickly,is that true??

I remember that it was extremely painful but I forget the kind of pain, so in that sense I have indeed forgotten. It's a blurry memory.

i think everyone has a diffrent pain tolerance. i am sure some males can stand more pain that females, and some females can stand more pain then males. but i a glade i dont have to do the birth thing. you all can have that. i will watch.
