How do you deal with pain? By pain I mean physical pain like having a tooth pulled out or a foot chopped off.

Do you just bite the bullet and clench your fists or do you do something wacky in your brain to take your mind off it?

Ummm I've got nasty mouth ulcers at the moment which hurt like an absolute BITCH when I put anything on it, so I end up pinching my leg or something cause it takes the focus away from the pain in my mouth.

Kinda dumb I know, cause there's gonna be pain in my leg to compensate, but it's not as bad or long lasting as the pain in my mouth.

have you tried clove oil from a chemist or health shop,it stings a bit taste awful but does take the pain away cos im using it at the mo.

the next time that we meet,i shall bow at your feet,then were prepare to take heaven down there for liam and his nan xxx

The worst pain I've ever had in my life is a toss-up between a kidney infection and the chest pain from pneumonia/pleurisy! Frankly, I'd rather have the kidney infection, cuz Vicodin did a damn good job cutting through THAT pain!

I find that a hot shower (as hot as I can stand it) will relieve just about any pain, at least for a while. That was my remedy of choice while recovering from both the kidney infection and the pneumonia.
