I like the PETA's motives towards the treatment of animals. What myself, and a lot of other people, don't like is how they go about doing this. They are known for violent protests and similar.

I'm all for fair treatment and the stopping of animal cruelty but sometimes you just think these people could be a bit more peaceful while fighting this battle.

I agree.

In addition, there is a difference between animal cruelty and eating meat. I could personally never kill an animal or prepare it to be eaten, but I don't have a problem eating meat. To me there's just a difference.

Respect!

Damn right I'm good in bed, I can sleep for hours!

You love it. You know you do.

I'm not against killing it. I just couldn't do it myself.

I think that there are many things wrong with PETA,

First I am a hunter and a fisherman I only keep and kill what I eat, I hunt all legal ways so what is wrong with that? nothing but PETA thinks so.

But the best one yet is that they are all a bunch of Hypocrites, I think that people need to get a hobby and stop worrying about everyone else and worry about them selves

Because it is better to pay someone else to do the dirty work?

Does that mean if you hire a hitman, you are less reponsible for the ensuing death than he is?

I with Annie, i will eat meat as long as farmers are in business and butchers.

I have no problem with eating animals, personally i do not want to slaughter them. Its messy.

However if i was starving, i wouldn't have a problem killing an animal.

I have helped to slaughter animals when there was no other food. But if I don't need meat to survive, I'm not eating it.

I don't understand why so many people are against PETA.
I am a vegitarian myself and an animal rights actavist.
Could someone explain to me why so many people say it's wrong?

I have heard a very few stories about how they payed people to shoot a kangaroo, and then blamed it on farmers.

But if they where making so much of this up, how do you explain how chickens are treated? Did PETA spend millions of dollars going state to state building chicken houses and filling each one with thousands of chickens? Then stuffing all those thousands of chickens into batted cages, 8 to a small cage, forcing them to all get bruised up? Then PETA would go and hire workers and make them torture these animals?

Of course not! They would need million and millions of dollars for each state! And we all know that PETA is no Bill Gates.

So please tell me your veiw, I would love to learn somethings I haven't heard.

No, PETA didn't do those things. They do however release those animals into the wild...where they cannot survive. They do that with mink farmers too and research animals.

They attacked the University of Iowa Psycology center a few years back. They released all the animals (most of which need medical care to survive and would die a very painful and slow death without it), poured acid over the computers, desks, and benches, and distroyed years upon years of research. Millions of dollars worth of damage, and lost treatments.

I'm all for animal rights, but PETA goes too far.

It would make this world a better place if you remained in your cupboard. You are damn objectionable. Stay where you belong, locked in that lil ole UK cupboard!! I know many men who care, and dedicate their whole life and savings to animal causes. Man........... you are out of touch. Stay in the dark ages lady, preferably in that cupboard!

if you disagree with killing animals for food could you like eat something that was killed by accident? or like if a chicken lost a leg in a fight could you eat the leg?

These were all rats and mice, most of which died a very painful death because they were released. Celebrating that is pretty sick.
