I don't understand why so many people are against PETA.
I am a vegitarian myself and an animal rights actavist.
Could someone explain to me why so many people say it's wrong?

I have heard a very few stories about how they payed people to shoot a kangaroo, and then blamed it on farmers.

But if they where making so much of this up, how do you explain how chickens are treated? Did PETA spend millions of dollars going state to state building chicken houses and filling each one with thousands of chickens? Then stuffing all those thousands of chickens into batted cages, 8 to a small cage, forcing them to all get bruised up? Then PETA would go and hire workers and make them torture these animals?

Of course not! They would need million and millions of dollars for each state! And we all know that PETA is no Bill Gates.

So please tell me your veiw, I would love to learn somethings I haven't heard.

I think that there is a difference between animal cruelty and farming. Some farms have livestock conditions that arent pleasant. If you dont eat animals, thats your way of supporting the value of their lives.

I dont think you can believe everything you read. Some things are staged and some are not. Just take everything with a grain of salt.

I like the PETA's motives towards the treatment of animals. What myself, and a lot of other people, don't like is how they go about doing this. They are known for violent protests and similar.

I'm all for fair treatment and the stopping of animal cruelty but sometimes you just think these people could be a bit more peaceful while fighting this battle.

AHAHAHAHAH!! I never thought about it that way. I think its funny that all the famous people are into it too. I wonder how much money/time/effort goes into an organization like that just so they feel they are contributing to the world.

im no activist nor am i agianst peta, ive grown up around farms and hunting my entire life, peta is just like everything else that one percent that is going about things violently or wrong are giving everyone else a bad name.

Now on those chicken farms, its just a cost issuewithout putting them crammed together cost goes up cuz u need more land, so farmers charge more to the companies(or the companies find someone else then u just put a farm out of business) the companies charge more, so the consumer gets charged more and that goes to not just food but pillows, blankets and craft things. Not all chicken farms are that bad, and the animals are about to be killed, they only live in the farm for a year or sometimes less just untill they mature then they r killed in a large factory.

idk im not agianst peta im sure they do plenty to help but i am pro farmer, and farmers are necessary for survival peta isnt

sorry but once you become a parent all your empathy towards animals releases itself into what its meant to be - your empaty towards children, i personally dont think there is any need to be cruel to animals, i buy free range and organic but all this weird pent up anger about farming and the animals is a psychological transferrence from maternal instinct which is why teen age girls and menopausal women are so hot on this s**t.

When you become a parent and realise your kids need protein and s**t you will give them chicken, bollocks to animal rights!

PETA is a weird organisation who f**k with peoples minds and only give thier own personal side of the story!
