Is starting an online shopping store or mall worth it? I've seen ads where they set up everything for free,set up marketing,etc. What are things to consider here that aren't made known to someone upfront before they just dive into it?

Yes, similar to that.I've seen different ones,none of which I've looked into very much.However I did view the video on a "My Power Mall" website. I saw one who's site was pretty cool. It was called " Oh say,can you shop?" How has yours been working out?

I must say that I do not know too much about this kind of business but have you considered where your advertisements will be? Because you should make sure that the sites you are advertising on are highly trafficked sites so that you can get the word out there and get more hits to your site!! Just a thought hope it helps!!

I have a couple of online stores had for 5 years and i make money not rich but, i do make money the main thing is Advertising plus i'm not into any contract other than a annual fee (hosting) thats it and i can ship the the UK as well as United States and Canada. Ebay does make it difficult but, the world is a big place and you may have Family and friends to sell to etc....

Always remember that advertising is the ROOT of your business. Now matter what the product or service.

Okay first off you might want to find a forum that is a business forum where those in the know how can answer your questions, not too sure how to find them but I'm sure they're out there. You need to know the inns and outs of the business before you go into it and people to fall back on when your lost, confused or not too sure how to do it. I'm sure a forum can do that for you. Great thing is you'll have people telling you of their experience and what to look out for.
